Kay Young, Coaching Director CoachingThe constant underlying theme in a Locus coaching programme is improving individual and team performance through personal and leadership development. What we like to call “performance through people”. Our aim is to support leaders in developing their authentic leadership presence and full potential. Helping to improve their effectiveness and performance in leading, managing and developing themselves, their teams & their colleagues, through various climates of organisational change. All of our 1:1 and team coaching services are provided by our team of highly professional, experienced and accredited executive coaches, allowing us to offer a wide range of coaching approaches, to suit both individual andorganisational requirements and preferences. Working alongside clients, we will design a coaching programme that; meets specific needs, matches leaders with the right coach, schedules the coaching sessions as required, and measures the effectiveness of the coaching programme through regular reviews. In so doing we support the whole organisation in developing their leadership talent, building employee engagement, facilitating highly effective relationships and team working, and promoting the development of a valued learning culture. Some examples of our offering and approach are described below: Coaching ClinicsCoaching clinics should be used when a team of people are in complex roles or the size of their management responsibility means that they do not have the time outlined above to dedicate to individual coaching. Development of Key PeopleDevelopment of key people is critical to all organisations and we can develop a talent management programme from research to implementation. Our coaches are accredited to administer and provide professional feedback on, for example, the Leadership Development Framework (Torbert et al) and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). We can implement a personalised 360° feedback process for an individual or a team or a generic service (Denison) which reflect the issues that specifically require feedback. If your team is widely dispersed then you will be glad to know that we have experience of coaching global teams by telephone when face-to-face sessions are not possible. Dialogue SessionsOur coaches help teams to communicate effectively between individuals by deepening connections and individual understanding of the dynamics and complexities of each others roles and responsibilities. This process of shared inquiry, enhanced authenticity and learning holds the potential for the development of a high performing team with the ability to sustain improved performance. |
